OFFICIAL NEW YEARS EVE TNA IMPACT! RESULTS
Saturday, December 31, 2005 Orlando, FL
 By: Marcus Cygy

Before the show started, Bullet Bob Armstrong was backstage saying that Konnan was the key to this whole problem. So Bob
was going to approach him and fix this tonight.

We now opened up to broadcast within the iMPACT Zone as we were counting down the hours to year 2006 on New Years Eve!

NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, JEFF JARRETT & MONTY BROWN vs. SHARK BOY & KENNY KING
Before the match initiated, Jackie Gayda came and tried to slap Jarrett but it was a swing and a miss and thats when security
came to take her out. The match was then jump started with Brown working on King and Jarrett working on Shark Boy. While Shark
Boy and Kenny King were able to pull out some offense, it wasnt enough to knock The Alpha Male Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett
off their feet. Kenny King was creamed by The Pounce, immediately followed with The Stroke onto Shark Boy by Jeff Jarrett.
Both Jarrett and Brown pinned their respective opponents at the same time and won the match.

Winners: NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett & Monty Brown

Backstage, Don West was able to catch Jackie Gayda and interview her. He wanted to find out just what was going on. She
said this is about business and about Jeff Jarrett keeping his word, which apparently he isnt too good at abiding by. Jackie
was sick to her stomach to see that Gail Kim was in the corner of Jarrett when originally it was suppose to be her. So Jackie
wants her money back or shes going to spill the beans to TNA management on information about Jarrett that Jarrett doesnt want
                           to be known.

IMPACTFUL Moments of 2005 were then shown.

 COMMERCIAL BREAK

More moments from 2005 were shown and this time it was of The War Machine Rhino, the man who went through three matches
at Bound For Glory to become the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

THE MAN BEAST RHINO vs. A1
The premiere moments of the match was a match of powers but Rhino shifted a gear up and went high-risk over the ropes
taking down A1. A1 had some of his power moves displayed but Rhino was able to go around them and ultimately catch A1 with
a spine buster, followed with The Gore for the win before this pro-Rhino crowd.

 Winner: Rhino

Right after the match, DAmore tried knocking Rhino down. However, down came Abyss to make the save for Scott DAmore. We
do know that Abyss is aligned with Team Canada because theyre all aligned with Planet Jarrett. After the beat down by Abyss,
                           James Mitchell shook DAmores hand.

Backstage was Bullet Bob Armstrong with Konnan, he wanted his side of the story. Konnan raised his voice and said that
he never liked Kip James. Armstrong said, No matter what you say, we can fix this. Armstrong brought in some personal feelings
between each other and that softened up the situation. Konnan then concluded by saying hell sake their hands and that he was
sorry for letting it get to this.

The Funeral of Team 3D was then reviewed as a key moment of 2005.

 COMMERCIAL BREAK

The emergence of Samoa Joe in TNA in 2005 was another IMPACTFUL Moment of 2005.

 Non-Title Match:
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPION, SAMOA JOE vs. RODERICK STRONG
Before the match, Roderick Strong had a concerned look on his face as almost he wanted to turn back but there was no turning
back when the bell ang and as soon as Joe kicked and knocked Strong down, you could again see the look on Rodericks face only
this time it was of shock, like, Oh no, Im really in this match. Samoa Joe then used all his running kick power moves to physically
destroy Roderick Strong. Dave Hebner was seen ringside taking notes as was Shannon Moore on top of the stage. Strong used
one of his signature moves with the backbreaker onto the knee but that back fired because it hurt his own knee. Joe then caught
Strong in the corner and drove him right down. He was then positioned into the Muscle Buster and the Kokita Clutch, for the
                           win.

Winner: TNA X-Division Champion, Samoa Joe

The Morphoplex Move Of The Night was the Muscle Buster by Samoa Joe on Roderick Strong.

Straight back to behind the scenes it was Konnan, Apolo, and TNA newcomer Homicide all beating on Bullet Bob Armstrong.
Konnan then halted the assault because he didnt want to kill the man, he just wanted to send the message that theres a new
group in charge here and its the triad of himself, Apolo, and Homicide.

Christian Cage choosing to come to TNA Wrestling on his own terms was another moment of 2005 in the IMPACTFUL Moments
                           of the Year.

 COMMERCIAL BREAK

Raven getting screwed out of the NWA World Heavyweight Title by Jeff Jarrett and Americas Most Wanted on September 15,
2005 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada was another moment reviewed for the key IMPACTFUL Moments of the Year.

THE PHENOMENAL AJ STYLES vs. COWBOY JAMES STORM
AJ was displaying his stitched up lip that was split at the hands of Samoa Joe back at Turning Point. In the opening segments
of this match, James Storm had a strong hold on AJs head taking him down. AJ however later on used his quick slick phenomenal
style to cause Storm to bail out of the ring for a quick commercial break.

 COMMERCIAL BREAK

Back to ring action, it was the former 5-time X-Division Champion, AJ Styles with the crowd behind him and momentum as
he ducked and jumped over all offense from Storms way that came at him. AJ went airborne and perfectly placed a knee to the
forehead of James Storm, then followed with a Stinger Splash like move into the corner. Later though, James Storm successfully
engaged the Eye of the Storm and that momentarily shifted the momentum in Storms favor. Storm kept AJ grounded because he
knew AJ was quick on his feet and could innovate something new within a split second so he wasnt going to let AJ even have
a split second to get on his feet. Storm however made the mistake for lining up the Super Kick because AJ caught it and used
that split second to deliver the Pele. It was then AJ with the momentum and an inverted DDT for a near fall. AJ went to the
top rope and Chris Harris was there for the distraction but AJ still hit off a splash from the top and then caught Gail Kim
from the top but James Storm knocked AJ out with the beer bottle hit from the back of the head for the win. It was the numbers
game that costed AJ the match.

 Winner: James Storm

Christopher Daniels was then down at the ring in disgust, he was there supporting AJ, it was an unfair win and he wasnt
going to put up with that. Larry Zbyszko then came down with a microphone and shouted out that tonight at 12:00 Midnight on
New Years Day it would be Americas Most Wanted defending the NWA World Tag Team Titles against for the first time ever, the
team of The Phenomenal AJ Styles and The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels and this would be the first match of 2006! Right
after that announcement, AMW and Gail Kim were down playing the numbers game again with the cheap shots, but Christian Cage
with a chair came to the save. Christian iterated that AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels would become the new NWA World Tag
Team Titles and that he wasnt going to go anywhere as he counts down the New Year because thats how he rolls.

 Quick Match Results:
NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett & Monty Brown defeated Shark Boy & Kenny King.
 Rhino defeated A1.
TNA X-Division Champion, Samoa Joe defeated Roderick Strong, in a Non-Title Match.
 James Storm defeated AJ Styles.

OFFICIAL NEW YEARS DAY TNA IMPACT! RESULTS
Saturday, January 1, 2006 Orlando, FL
 By: Marcus Cygy

Christian Cage counted down the New Year as it became year 2006! The confetti was flying all over the place and Mike Tenay
was in the ring with Christian Cage as he announced that the newest member of the Total Nonstop Action roster is former NWA
World Heavyweight Champion, the man they call Sting! Christian Cage though had news the one upped Mike Tenay and that was
a match signed for Final Resolution. The main event is going to be NWA World Heavyweight Champion, The King of the Mountain
Jeff Jarrett & The Alpha Male Monty Brown vs. Captain Charisma Christian Cage & Sting!

Jeff Jarrett immediately came down as we rang in the New Year. Jarrett said that the war is going to be won by Planet
Jarrett with his army that he has built ever so gigantic at the moment. Jarrett told Christian that he will never ever climb
to the top of the mountain because he simply does not have what it takes to get there. Christian responded that Jarrett finally
grew a set of nuts and that he wasnt tired of verbally abusing him so his new years resolution was to start physically abusing
him; so he did, but Monty Brown came to help Jarrett. So Rhino then came to help Christian Cage, however the army of Planet
Jarrett in Americas Most wanted came followed by Team 3D, it was an all out war with the battle lines drawn!

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:
CHAMPIONS, AMERICAS MOST WANTED vs. AJ STYLES & CHRISTOPHER DANIELS
It was now time for the first championship match of the year in the first match of the year! While the crowd was definitely
on the side of AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, one could only hope that no one else would get involved with this match.
James Storm and Christopher Daniels started this out, and it was Daniels with the control coming out smoking hot. AJ immediately
was in the ring with a quick arm drag onto Chris Harris then hitting him with a drop kick. AJ and Daniels also did a double
arm drag to James Storm, then sending all of AMW out of the ring. They were in full control early in this one. AJ Styles and
The Fallen Angel continued this dominant streak and received a couple of near falls. Daniels even catapulted himself off the
ropes for a moonsault onto James Storm. That received a near fall so later on, Daniels decided to hit off something bigger,
the BME! It was an attempted onto Chris Harris just after AJ had taken the Catatonic. Harris avoided the BME as Storm lined
up a Super Kick onto Daniels. It wasnt over though, AJ was back alive with a reversed roll up then into The Styles Clash for
the pin but the referee was knocked out during the confusion. Shannon Moore then came in and cost the match for AJ and Daniels
as Americas Most Wanted won the match, once again the numbers were against AJ Styles.

Winners & STILL NWA World Tag Team Champions: Americas Most Wanted
